Monumen Kapal selam

Monumen Kapal Selam (Monkasel). is a Biggest Submarine monument in Asia, built on the river side of Kalimas, Surabaya. It was built by the idea from the Elders of Submarine and Navy.The main concept is :
# To create a new tourist area on East Java.
# As a legacy of historical value that reflects the Indonesian as a Maritime Country.
# To keep safe and act as conservation object.
# As a memorabilia dedicated to a brave warrior who fought unflinching
KRI Pasopati 410, included to SS type Whiskey Class, made on Vladi Wostok Rusia in 1952. It participated within the Navy since 29 January 1962, Its duty was to destroy the enemy line (anti-shipping), surveillance and do silent raids.
KRI Pasopati had taken a great role to maintain a Oceanic law yuridication, such as Operation Trikora, KRI Pasopati go down on behind enemy lines, gave them a psychologist suppression.
